Even from a young child growing up I always daydreamed about wanting to be a King, to be the boss with a jewel encrusted crown, but in reality I was nowhere near. Always wanting to succeed to my maximum potential to better myself and those around me, staying focused on my dream and keeping my feet on the ground I became Council Royalty. Now I am able to express myself through the creation of a clothing label, a business based on who I have become.
The label Council Royalty expresses individuality, motivation, determination, will power and strength. As you may be aware businesses have a responsibility to their effects on the environment, understand their carbon footprint and operate ethically. Council Royalty believes in accepting this responsibility and our future forward thinking has led us to offset our greenhouse gas emission to become a carbon neutral company and only use suppliers who have signed up to the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) that ensures the manufacturing process of each garment is conducted in an ethical manner.

Council Royalty is aware of its corporate responsibility and all our manufacturers have signed up to the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) to ensure all our garments are produced in an ethical manner. The FWF works to improve labour conditions in the garment industry worldwide. Manufacturers that have become affiliated with the FWF must sign up to a code of conduct that is based on the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Each manufacturer must accept independent verification to ensure the code of conduct is adopted.
Council Royalty is committed to the production of garments that are free of harmful chemicals and are safe for both people and the environment. We only choose garments that are certified to the Oeko-tex 100 Standard. The standard is a globally uniform testing and certification system for textile raw materials ensuring the highest human ecological standards are met. The standard includes tests for chemicals that are known to be harmful to human health.
Council Royalty is aware of its impact upon the planet. No longer can human activity be denied as a contributing factor towards climate change. As a result of this Council Royalty and the manufacturers we use have a policy of zero carbon status either through renewable technologies or through fully certified carbon offsetting. We hope others are encouraged to follow our lead to help preserve our fragile eco system for future generations.
